Today’s Whisper invites us to look at the weight we sometimes carry as ‘problems.’ What if those problems are not as solid as they appear? What if they are only shadows cast by the illusion of separation? Let us listen together…”
The Whisper
“What you call a problem is often only the shadow of separation. You believe yourself divided from life, set apart from love, and so the weight of struggle appears. But the shadow has no substance—it is only the mind forgetting its source.
When you remember that you are not outside of the Whole but a ripple of its infinite sea, the shadow dissolves. The problem softens into clarity, and clarity opens into love. What once felt impossible becomes part of the great unfolding of the One.”
Reflective Expansion
For centuries, humanity has wrestled with “problems” of existence—whether it is the philosopher’s question of how mind relates to matter, or the daily struggles of our own lives. But often what we call a problem is really a reflection of separation: the sense of being alone, cut off, and responsible for carrying life’s burdens in isolation.
The philosopher Baruch Spinoza once wrote, “Whatever is, is in God, and nothing can be or be conceived without God.” To him, separation was the illusion, and the truth was Oneness—God or Nature as the single substance of all.
Centuries later, Ernest Holmes echoed this same knowing in The Science of Mind: “There is One Life, One Mind, One Spirit, and One Truth. This Life is God, and this Life is my life now.” He taught that when we align thought with this One Mind, separation dissolves into freedom.
Even science, in its own language, affirms this vision. Quantum field theory reveals that what we think of as particles and objects are not separate things at all, but ripples in a single unified field. Beneath every star and every heartbeat, there is only one energy, one field, one Presence.
So when you feel burdened by a problem, pause and remember: you are not outside of life, struggling alone. You are a mode of the Infinite, a wave of the field, a thought of God. The problem begins to soften, and love begins to reveal the way forward.
Journal Prompts
What is one problem in my life that may actually be a reflection of feeling separate?
How might this situation look different if I saw it through the lens of Oneness?
Where have I already experienced a burden lifting when I reconnected with presence, trust, or love?
Action Steps
When a challenge arises today, pause before reacting. Place your hand over your heart and whisper: “I am not separate. I am one with the Infinite.” Notice if the weight shifts.
Write a short affirmation of Oneness for an area of life where you feel blocked. Example: “This work is not mine alone—it flows through the One.”
Spend a few minutes outdoors. Look at the sky, the trees, the ground. Imagine they are not separate from you but expressions of the same Source. Feel yourself included in this unity.
Affirmations
I am never separate; I am always one with the Infinite.
What seemed like a problem is now clarity.
What I see as clarity unfolds as love.
Closing Blessing
Beloved, may every shadow of separation dissolve in the light of remembrance.
May you know yourself as a ripple of the Infinite, flowing in harmony with the sea of being.
May your problems soften into clarity, and your clarity blossom into love.
For you are not apart. You are the One, briefly, beautifully, eternally expressed.
