Beloved Ones,
This morning I awoke with a single sentence – a message from spirit ringing in my mind:
“Ascension has become God.”
It was not spoken in judgment, but in sadness.
For in the collective, I see how the idea of ascension — beautiful as it is — is often mistaken for the Source itself.
This Whisper rose from that moment.
The Whisper
There is a great sadness moving quietly through the field,
For many have mistaken the step for the Source.
The climb toward light is beautiful.
The lifting of the heart, the awakening of sight,
the longing for a purer realm —
These are signs of the soul remembering.
But ascension is not God.
It is a path,
a movement,
a doorway.
When the doorway is worshiped,
the house beyond is forgotten.
When the climb becomes the idol,
we measure worth by altitude instead of by love.
God is not a height to reach.
God is the Presence that meets you on every step —
whether you rise,
whether you pause,
whether you fall to your knees.
Ascension can bring you closer,
but only love will bring you home.
Reflection
In the collective, the word “ascension” has become a banner, a brand, a measure of spiritual success.
But true awakening is not about bypassing the human or earning a higher rank.
It is about union with the Source of Love itself — in stillness, in humility, in the ordinary moments as much as the luminous ones.
Journal Prompts
1. When you think of “ascension,” what images or feelings arise? Do they bring you closer to God, or to an idea of achievement?
2. How might your spiritual journey shift if love, not altitude, became your measure?
3. What practices help you remember God in the most ordinary moments?
Affirmation
“I walk with God in every step, and no step is greater than Love.”
Closing Blessing
May you be free from measuring your nearness to God in heights.
May you find the Holy in the pause, the stumble, the embrace.
And may every step — upward or still — be lit by the Presence that is already here.
